WordPress is easier and I agree with you that it is more flexible that Joomla and Drupal. But don’t you think WordPress is more vulnerable to hacks and other attacks? Since it is the most popular tool, it has been a soft target for various hackers.

In my comparison of Joomla and WordPress I conclude that it actually depends on what you really want from your CMS. If you want flexibility and ease of use, you should go for WordPress. But if you are looking for a safer platform, then Joomla is for you.

Ummm flexibility – that would be Drupal.
Personally I think Joomla is easier to use than WordPress. Spent ages trying to find how to turn off comments in a friends wp blog. Nothing intuitive about it at all and eventually found it after a google search. And it is a ridiculous set of steps to turn it off. Joomla however is simple. Just uncheck the comment plugin and it’s inactive.
Moeez is correct to be concerned about hackers targeting a wp site. It is the favorite platform of hackers. And also the favorite of spammers who use software to automatically create thousands of cookie-cutter wp websites at a time. That is what has made wp so popular. The number of legitimate wp websites is actually a tiny fraction of it’s cms share statistic.

WordPress using a few simple tricks can be hardened so that it cannot be hacked. For turning off comments just download disable comments plugin and it will remove commenting from all over the website. Things are simple if you know them or search them. Personally i will still vouch for WordPress as user intuitive and pretty easier to work with than the other 2 (Drupal and Joomla).

      I agree with you.
WordPress is simple to use only for very small websites, for medium and bigger websites WP is pain in the ass for maintaining and developing.
