    Thanks – that’s great, but I still need the 3 boxes under the contact details to be orange. I’ve tried adding this code to the custom css:
    .orange { background-color:#f36e36 !important;}
    And assigned <div class=”orange”> to the appropriate text in the header, but its’ not working. Can you help?

    Regards, Helen

    I want to have some smaller ones, which I’ll control via different classes,
    Thanks, Helen

    Hi, please disregard my query about 100% widths, I’ve fixed it.
    However – I have a query relating to your css supplied above (@media screen and (max-width:480px){.alignleft, img.alignleft{float:none !important;}}

    Is there any way of getting the image to be centered? I’ve tried everything I can think of and can’t make it work,

    Thanks!

    Great, thanks – that works, and I’ve added in the classes for the right aligned images. However, looking at the effect, I think I’d rather the images filled 100% of the screen, so I’ve added 100% to the width. Its fine for the left aligned images, but the right aligned ones are going right up to the edge of the screen with no padding. I can’t work which of the containing divs needs amending to add padding (or a margin-right?) to the screen – can you advise?
    Many thanks for your help with this,
    Helen

    Thanks – I need this for a new site which I haven’t started putting together yet, so can’t try out the code just now. I’m not sure from your note that you’ve sent me all the css I need. If there’s anything else, could you send it to me right away, and I’ll feed back once I’ve got going on the site?

    Regards, Helen

    Hi, yes – looks good. Thanks – could you let me know how you did this? I’d be interested to know as I couldn’t see why the code previously sent had stopped working,

    Thanks – I specifically don’t want to make any changes to the php as I don’t want to have to create a child theme. Does that mean it’s impossible? It seems to me that it should be possible via css?
    Regards,

    Thanks – this definitely applies to the sub-page banners rather than the home page slider?
    Where do I input the content text?

    No – I do want the inner banner, and understand how it works. What I want is to be able to overlay it with text (bullet points, for example), similarly to the way text is overlaid on the home page slider. I think that this should be possible via css but need your advice.

    Yes, I do – but I know how to do that. It’s the page banner images I don’t know how to deal with, because these are featured images,

    Thanks, Helen

    HI, apart from the needyourhelp-content class, this is the same as the code I already have, which doesn’t work – could you have another look for me?

    Thanks, Helen

    Thanks – I’m finding the original code supplied works fine, also with an adjustment to 0.6 – 0.8 loses a little too much of the transparency,

    Helen
