Thumbnails

I got that issue with Thumbnails; when I crete a post add a picture and a bit of text, set up a feature images:

– that feature image becomes the background image
– that feature image become double in the post with a date on it

How can I get the feature image to be used just as a thumbnails for the previous menu?
is that possible to get the home page slideshow gallery always in background even when visiting the different pages?

Hi,

First of all apologize for the delay in response. I had to be out of town this weekend.

Here is what you need to do. Kindly visit Appearance>Theme Options

Basic Settings there is a line which says Do not use featured images as background.

When you do that the featured images won’t show up as background images.

Only the single image you set up as background under Appearance>Background will show up.

Also to remove featured image from within posts you have to remove the following code from content-single.php

Remove the above code and it won’t show up the image.

We will have to pick up the script and then place it in blog. You can hire us for this customization or any other developer. It is something not easy for which i can give instructions.

I just notice something else with the Thumbnails; if I upload a portrait picture or square, the Thumbnails is completely stretch.

Hi I need some assistance as well.

I want to remove featured images from appearing inside posts. I am using your skt girlie pro, version.

I have searched for this line of code under the theme editor < ?php if (has_post_thumbnail() ) the_post_thumbnail(); ?>

and cannot find it.

Yes we will have to remove the code from single.php
