I have question about a site’s cache. Sometimes I have deleted an image in my media files, made some changes to it then uploaded it again. If I do not change the name of the image the old version shows up and not the new one. Is there any way to empty the cache of a site without loosing things like pages, customization, widgets, etc? I did a search in support on this and all I saw was referrals to browser’s caches’ is that the problem?

    Hi Julie,

Kindly try to do a forced refresh.

    Windows/Linux:
    1. Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.
    2. Or, Hold down Ctrl and press F5.

    Mac:
    1. Hold Shift and click the Reload button.
    2. Or, hold down Cmd and Shift key and then press R.

If still you see an old image kindly change image name then upload it and if you are using a caching plugin kindly clear plugin’s cache from it’s page.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Thanks Dave,
I wasn’t sure if the site had a cache or if it was something on my end, now I know.
    Thanks again,
    JulieO

Unfortunately, Perfect doesn’t seem to be that perfect… I’m using it, so I can get what you’re saying.
