Phone Number in header

Hi I was wondering how to put my phone number in the header. I tried using the shortcode

content: “call us: 917-560-8273”;
width: 195px;
display: block;
padding: 60px 50px;
border-radius: 0 04px 5px;

text-align: right;

position: absolute;

The problem is that when I look at the site on a mobile device it doesn’t look right. I know this is supposed to be a responsive theme so could you help me out with this? Thanks.

Hi Dianne,

Instead of managing it via CSS you can put a code in header.php so that it shows on all screen sizes. Now the contact number has absolute position and its showing on right hand side.

Hi I sent you my info as you requested. It seems you added the phone numbers in my header. I would liked to have known how you did that, plus I might not want both of those numbers in there. also is that a clickable phone number? There is a problem. On the mobile site the number is going over the go to menu options. Doesn’t look right. Can this be fixed? And like I said I would liked to have known how you did that. Thanks, Dianne
