Insert a page non pop up before visitor gets to home page

I need to put up a funnel/capture page up on my website that is not a pop up. How do i effectively insert this step before they go on to the templates home page?

You can use any Splash page plugin for this.

Excellent! You get the idea. I already have a page created through clickfunnels that I’d like to use. What do you recommend I use to implement that?

You can select that page as a homepage via clickfunnels settings.

I understand. The problem is that I dont know how have that done and maintain the integrity/information of what the theme has set as the home page. I would like to set a page of my choice as the homepage and then be able to move the visitor alon to what the theme has designated as the home page. Please help

And I don’t know how to set a new designated page as the homepage other than through the clickfunnels plug in
