Hide Social Section

Hi, is there an easy way to hide the complete Social Section. I have now deleted all content in the fields. So, there is now an empty space. The website is: http://www.chesskin.nl/

I have the same problem, I deleted all fields but social section still apear (without icons) How can i remove section? Thanks

Hi,

Its simple kindly visit Appearance>Theme Options>Sections>Scroll down to that social icon section. And check the box hide this section. So it won’t show up.

As far as I can see the ‘Social Section’ is not in ‘Sections’ but has it’s own tab, with no check box for opting out of.

No not in social tab but in sections scroll to the section where social icons are used. Open it and select this checkbox as shown in screenshot:

I didn’t find the solution. You mean section tab, but I haven’t nothing about social icons in any section, so I can’t hide it. I can’t open your screenshot aswell, it appear an error.

Yes i think you guys are right. My Bad. Kindly visit: footer.php and replace line number 12 with the following:

 

<section style=”background-color:<?php echo of_get_option(‘socialseccolor’,true); ?>;display:none;”>

 

I know its risky so take a backup of footer.php if possible or else send us the WP Admin details in case not sure of how to do this.

Okay sorry for this. Give us 2 days we will make this an easy shortcode and display it within sections itself. So it will be easy to use and delete/hide as well.

Hi,

Yes you bought it yesterday so in your theme sections you will find social icons as a shortcode. Just remove the code to remove social icons.
