hello, is there any documentation on working with the ‘what’s new in the shop’ section?

looking for info on:
best image size
how to link ‘read more’ and ‘buy now’ so they work – is that a matter of linking to an existing page?

i currently have the section hidden as it a hot mess!

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

.linkreadmore { display: inline-block !important; height: auto !important;}
#productdescbg { min-height:245px;}

thank you for your prompt reply, but some how now i have managed to lose the price

also is there any way to keep the ‘read more’ and ‘buy’ links all in line with each other? like the section above?

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

.linkreadmore { position: absolute; bottom: 30px;}
.prodbuy .linkreadmore { position: absolute; right: 10px; bottom:30px;}

Kindly use image size 370x235px for ‘whats new in the shop’ section.

so now this is happening, the ‘read more’ buttons in the upper section are in the text. i have resized my images in the ‘whats new’ section to 370×235 thinking that since they were larger, i had them at 470×300, that was the problem but resizing didn’t fix it.
