Girlie Pro Theme – front page 4 boxes

I’ve searched all over my dashboard on wordpress and I can’t seem to find anywhere to update the four boxes shown on the original home page. I want to edit my homepage and re-arrange things but have no idea how to change my original settings. PLEASE HELP!!! I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out.

Hi Tina,

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Section

You will find the four boxes settings there. Select the pages for the homepage boxes and upload the thumbnail for it and Save.

Thank you, now I know where to go at least. My next question I guess would be then can I only display pages? Those are my only drop down options. I’d rather just display pictures and have no words underneath the picture. That’s what is shown on the picture of the theme when I bought it. Please help and thank you for your quick response.

Hi Tina,

You can only display pages there but yes you can hide text underneath the thumbnail images. If you want to show only thumbnail images then let me know i will provide you CSS for the same.

Ok, yes that would be great. I would like to hide the text underneath that sections please. Also there is a section under those thumbnail images where I have words written but cannot find where to edit that section, please help. It’s labeled as Welcome to the Grone Family Blog when you visit my site: www.thegronefamilyblog.com

Hi Tina,

We have checked your website and found some mistakes. Kindly go to Settings>>Reading and select your latest post. So that sections show up on your homepage. This way its easy to customization for you.

I’m sorry but those directions don’t make sense to me. I went in and selected latest post but nothing changed on my homepage. It still has words underneath my pages pictures and I still have that section underneath that section I would like to edit as well…the “Welcome to the Grone Family Blog!” section.
