You better check the security of the Handyman theme. Google just tagged my site that has been sitting in top ranks for the last 4 years as a hacked site due to content injection.

Here is the url they claim has content injection use on it. I’ve already seen my site drop 6 places today. GET ON IT!

    Hi,

Hacks and spams etc are not more related to theme. This you need to understand first. They are more related to how you secure your website. So have security plugin like sucuri or Better WP Security ensures it is secured. Then asking hosting to remove loop holes is another thing.

If you notice security procedures given by WordPress.org: http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress

They never ask you to use secure xyz theme or plugin but instead focus on rest items which secure a website.

So there is never going to be a problem due to theme or a plugin. Its how you secure your WordPress website. Period.

    Regards,
    Shri
