Black & white theme issues

Hi,

I have discovered a couple of problems on the web www.centromevis.cat, designed with the theme Black & White.

1) Z-index problem. In one of the entries of the blog a video is embedded and it does not allow to see the submenu correctly. I think it’s a problem with the z-index but I have not been able to fix it. How can I fix this problem?

2) Excerpt problem. In the last news of the home page the system takes as excerpt of the entries the first words. The system does not discard the shortcodes and that causes the excerpt not to be seen correctly. You can see it in the screenshot:

I want the system to take the content I introduce in the excerpt box instead of the first words of the entry.How can I do this?

Answer:

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

#content { z-index:1;}

This can only be done via coder.
